My cousin gave me a lot of water apple that day. I decided to make something fresh and tasty food using this fruit. Hope you give this recipe a try!
Ingredients:
- 250 gram water apple
- 4 red chilies
- 1 birdeye chilies
- 4 tbsp sugar or as desired
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 400 ml water
Methods:
- Boil the chilies in some water for 10 minutes. Then, throw away the water.
- Grind the chilies and salt in a mortar until smooth.
- Put the water in a pan. Add the chilli paste, sugar, and lime juice.
- Simmer until everything is well combined for about 15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat.
- Let it cools down.
- Cut water apple vertically into 4 pieces.
- Add the water apple pieces in a pan. Mix it.
- Put in a container.
- Store in a fridge.
- Best eaten cold in the next day.
